Our Team

Brooklyn Global Prep staff nurtures the child’s sense of independence by encouraging exploration and decision making. Our teachers are trained to enable students to acquire practical communication skills, develop competence and confidence, while stimulating the joy of learning another language. At Brooklyn Global Prep, your child will be cared for by our nurturing and experienced staff who share a passion for early childhood education. We create a partnership with our parents to assure both you and your child’s needs are met. We provide a warm environment where our children are encouraged to explore, make choices and gain independence. We instill a strong sense of self and a discovery of each child’s unique place in community and the world.

At Brooklyn Global Prep, we strongly believe in the power of community. We believe that all our teachers have something valuable to offer to all children. We consider our entire team as active members of BGP community and integrate all teachers in every classroom at some point. We work as a team to support each other in the classroom daily and expose children to a wide variety of educational opportunities that encourage self-expression, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving.

NEW HIRES

Our first priority is the love, care and safety of our children. That is why we have a very thorough training period for all new teachers that join our team. Brooklyn Global Prep’s hiring philosophy is based on three principal goals. These are to find teachers that will help children gain confidence, impart a strong sense of community and foster a true love of learning.
When a new staff member has successfully completed our training program we then announce it to the parents. Thank you in advance for remaining patient during the new teacher training period, and allowing us adequate time to complete the interviewing/hiring/background check/trial period process successfully before formally introducing them to our families.
